| There is a free booklet on Birdwatching in Dumfries and Galloway, which is available from any local Toursit Information Centre or by sending an A5 SAE to Dumfries and Galloway Council Ranger Service, 4 Market Street, Castle Douglas. DG7 1BE. This booklet will give you details on how to get there, parking availability, best time of year to visit and what you might expect to see. There are also other sites not listed here.
